    The reference refers to ?the machine? so it sounds as if it?s an MPV or one
    of the various kinds of specialised track kit rather than an ordinary
    train.

    Yesterday's update suggests that it is some of rail vehicle and not just
    one of the dual purpose rail/road vehicles.


    "Network Rail Scotland confirmed: "Engineers are already on site,
    working to re-rail the machine as soon as possible.""
