Which conference? I?m never afraid of showing my ignorance :)

Rail Scotland Conference in Glasgow (though previous connections).

Be interesting to find out what else you learn. Please report back if you
    are able.

Unfortunately, the Network Rail contingent was very small. As delay
attribution was off-topic for the conference, I thought it would be unreasonable to distract attention.

My recent Delay Repay application has been approved but I see the BACS payment takes 5-10 days. My bank can transfer money in 2 hours. What
    is going on?

Im not sure if you reported how long it took to arrive?

Sounds to me like something to ask the NR people during coffee breaks,
or over lunch, rather than during a session.
