It's reported [on Facebook] that a C2C Rail Replacement bus got itself
wedged under a railway bridge.
Signed as 13ft 6in, and that particular model of bus said to be 14ft
1in. Which is consistent with six inch pessimism in such signage.
Apparently you can get special "low height" 13ft 10in double deckers
under the bridge; although that would still, strictly speaking, be a
road traffic offence.
Was released by letting down the tyres.
Several jokes about a Replacement Rail Replacement Bus being needed.
