Howdy, I'm working on this door, it's using synchronet avatar library and json-chat library to do some interBBS chat with avatars. Really I would like someone to install it and try to connect to my server and see that: a) InterBBS messages work [probably do] b) avatars work across systems [I think they will work but gotta check the boxes].

Anyways, hopefully someone will give it a go. If it all works out in the end I'll see about putting it in main synchronet repo when I'm done.

I have a couple ideas maybe I'm kicking around, but it's got a bit of stuff. If you do manage to connect, there's AI user bots on my server - they know how to do a bit more than chat, but they're not part of the program, just my server... FWIW, you should be able to stand-up your own server too - but for now I'm totally cool (since no one is running this yet) being the main server, that's part of why I made the client, I'm always loitering in this service.

The chat even works on the web although as part of a separate package, I'm in the process of forking the web part of synchronet not really distributing it at this point but can see it work at https://futureland.today/?page=004-chat.xjs (although I think I may need to some more work there for interbbs avatars eventually)

anyways, TLDR someone install that xtrn and try to connect and let me know how it goes. i'll owe you one.
