In addition to choosing the finals winners for the majors, how about this?
On what date will the US return control of the Venezuelan oil fields,
the largest proven reserves, larger than Saudi Arabia, to the
Venezuelans? Be sure to specify day of month, in which century, this
will happen.
What do you think, fellow-sufferers?

Not sure about the decade though.Funny thing, browsing through (mostly Finnish) Twitter and even with this thing there's now clear left-right divide...LEFT: Trump is breaking international laws by attacking Venezuela. Bad!RIGHT: Trump took a dictator out. Good!I don't agree with either camp really, it's not that black & white. Imo it's good that they took the dictator out and don't care about "breaking international law" to dot it, it can't be done other way... but at the same time I feel it's completely dishonest to claim that US is here helping anyone but themselves.US did this for heavy crude AND most of all petrodollar. Venezuela has been trying to join BRICS which would be detrimental to petrodollar. Some mention gold as well, and of course Chinese influence & trade with Venezuela. So, I guess stock markets would go down on Monday because of uncertainty? Or up because of strong US & short conflict with no effect outside Venezuela & oil? ...Ummm... probably up. Asia, uncertain.Oil would go...ummm... up short term?US dollar... up?Interest rates... not sure.Gold up because of global uncertainty.Exxon, Chevron UP!Anyway, I've decided trying not to do anything with my equities portfolio this year. And for Pelle who recently thought that one shouldn't invest in Finnish stocks... well, it's up like 20% since then and the Helsinki 25 index which is my largest position was up 38% in 2025! Goddamn!
Stupid as usual. This is why we come to RST.
Maduro is not a dictator.

If there ever was time wasted, this is pretty much it.
I'm not a X customer. I have only an inkling about what's been talked
about. Only what I've gathered from the MSM in one article. "Yawn", said
Mr Pelle.
It looks like it's the usual suspects trying to cash in on this. Trying
to turn Venezuela into a local left/right debate. Which it of course
isn't. You gotta be a moron to fall into this hole. But there you are.
LEFT: Trump is breaking international laws by attacking Venezuela. Bad!
You can take the "LEFT" out of it. That's of course the case.
RIGHT: Trump took a dictator out. Good!
It's not really Trump's business to take people out. The most perplexing thing of them all is that it seems to be the business of the average
PerSu Joe in little Fingolia.
What will these chumps say after Gr”nland? Will they pull ...
"international law"?

You're slow. I did exempt short term. Part of the "short term" had
already happened! Lol.

Good and bad don't enter into human transactions at this scale. It's national benefit, however this might be defined.
If anyone actually believes that any nation is interested in the form of government of another nation so that these foreign populations can have
more individual freedom, they have just admitted to believing in Santa Claus.
Oil would go...ummm... up short term?
You mean spot price? It'll go down at some point, it seems.

What do you think, fellow-sufferers?
Oil? Surely it's all about drugs & Maduro being a bad guy...
Nothing to do with Venezuela's oil reserves & heavy crude US needs for
its oil refineries but doesn't have. Also nothing to do with China. >Definitely nothing to do with oil & China.

Back during Bush I and II, they denied that Iraq was about the oil, though of course it was. Now Trump just says it outright about Venezuela.
That's why people like him.

Yes, it is.
Or dislike him. Depends on how much you value a frank answer. Whether it
is an honest answer depends on the circumstances, and in this case I
think it's honest.

Not long, politically speaking. This nation is now way to pussified to stomach any type of conflict with body bags coming home.
