• ESPN Football 2K4 vs 2K5

I know 2K5 is everyone's darling for Sega bringing it to Madden with a
$20 price tag and saying "fight me, bro." But looking back on them
both, I have to say I think I liked 2K4 more, because it had a bunch of
    Sega fan service in it.

There are all kinds of cool unlockables for the Crib mode, including
Sega posters (things like Panzer Dragoon, Jet Set Radio, etc.); fun soundtracks including songs from various Sega games, and you can even
get Jeffry McWild sa a free agent!

Not being huge into football, I never put in enough time into both of
them to really notice a huge difference in the gameplay, but I certainly noticed the lack of Sega in the 2K5 compared to the earlier iteration.

I should check if the other Sega sports games of that era do anything
similar. I have NHL2K4 and 2K5, I should pick up MLB and NBA to
complete the set. I guess there's also a College Hoops but that's 2K5
only. I assume any personality has also been left out of that one since
    it's a "serious" sports game.

Yes, this is the same benstylus who posted here from the late 90s to mid
    00's.
NO-SPAM is obviously not my email domain. You might try the Roman
version of Hera if you really need to email me.
