I haven't used usenet groups in 20 years. I think its fitting that i post for the first time in a vintage computer game group.
I'm writing this on usnet_reborn.
I have a lot of vintage stuff including commodore, amiga, sega genesis, atari 2600 and NES. My original c64 is still working, though it needed some repair some years back from a company called caprolite computers.
looking at my apple iie right now.
the games that really stuck with me were the Ultima series--have the codex tatooed on my right arm-- as well as Attack of the Mutant camels and balderdash. Though nothing influenced me like ultima. The AMC and boulderdash games i got from my uncle Kevin Harris. He pirated 5.25" floppies for me and gave them to me every birthday and christmas. He passed away this month. :(
