* Game 1, Round 2 - Geography - Where Am I?
The places described in this round are all situated somewhere in
Canada or the US. We will give you some clues and you tell us
the name of the *current Canadian province or US state* where the
place is located.
1. The 1960 film "Sunrise at Campobello" chronicled the struggles
of US president Franklin Roosevelt with polio. Campobello was
his summer retreat. Where is Campobello located?
2. Roosevelt spent many winter months at a camp that he financed
for children with polio in a place called Warm Springs. In fact,
he died there in 1945. Where is Warm Springs?
3. President Biden also has a summer home, at a place called
Rehoboth Beach. Where is Rehoboth Beach?
4. The New York Giants and the New York Jets both play their home
games at the same stadium -- MetLife Stadium. Where is the
stadium located?
5. The last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) was
driven into the ground in 1885 at a place called Craigellachie.
Where would we find that place?
6. 16 years earlier, the first transcontinental railway was
finished with the Golden Spike at a place called Promontory
Summit. Where is that located?
7. The main highway along the east coast of the United States is
I-95, running from Maine to Miami, Florida. One attraction that
breaks up what could be an extremely boring drive is a place
called "South of the Border", which is themed in a faux-Mexican
style, selling everything from tacky ashtrays to sombreros.

8. One event that helped to bring about the Canadian Confederation
of was the 1866 Battle of Ridgeway, where hundreds of unemployed
soldiers called Fenians crossed into British North America.
This was done in a futile effort to provoke a war between
Britain and the US that would lead to Irish independence.

9. In the mining town of Springhill there have been three
different mining disasters that have led to the deaths of
199 miners altogether. That last one took place in 1958.

10. The headquarters of the CIA is located in a place named Langley.
