  • 16 place Alphanumeric display?

    I have a WPC89 williams pin that I am looking at a Dale PD-16A070-4 plasma display for replacement.
    There are many more pins on this display and I wonder if this will work as
    an replacement.
    I tried it and didn't display correctly with many random segments lit.
    I am CERTAIN the board works since I removed a weak but working display to test this one.
    Maybe someone has a spec sheet or knows how to make these displays work correctly?

    Where did you find this tube?

    The pinout is different according to what I can see here: https://sven.killig.de/displays/Panaplex/

    but it should be translatable to other 16 digit tubes of the same size
    with some work. The trick is to find a data book on these...

    I'm the one who busts all the pinball machines in fact I've busted more flippers than anyone else alive.I just break other people's machines.

    John, I use Thunderbird, do you have a writeup on using this killfile?
    Granted most spam is gone now other these random "I'm the one who....."

    Hi Paul,

    I'm using news.eternal-september as my news host.

    Got to: Thunderbird/Tools/Message Filters
    Select Filters for: news.eternal-september - rec.games.pinball - make New... Filter name: (Something you'll recognize), make sure Apply filter when: Manually Run & Getting New Mail, then tick "match any of the following"
    and start filling in any annoyances "From", "contains", "email - such as 'idealmedstore@gmail.com'"
