This is very similar to the one we gave our son. We'll mostly just use
it as a salamander, and it was less than half the price of the Ninja. I
don't need an air fry function. We have one of those and almost never
use it. The slightly larger size of the Ninja just isn't worth paying
more than twice the price. The reason the one we bought was 38% off was because it was discontinued.

Also, THIS is a bunch of worthless shit--> "Healthier Frying: Achieves
up to 75% less fat when air frying compared to traditional deep-frying methods."
Who the fuck wants to reduce fat? Oh, this morning I fried potatoes and
eggs in a splendid mix of clarified butter and high oleic sunflower oil.
I had found that the straight clarified butter just added too much of a buttery flavor, so combining it with a very neutral oil made the
    potatoes nicer.

Speaking of discontinued Cuisinart models. https://www.cuisinart.com/discontinued-little-pro-plus-compact-3-cup-food-processorjuicer/LPP.html

You can sometimes find these NIB on eBay, even though they haven't made
them for well over 20 years. They're not cheap, but the citrus juicer is great, and the motor is indestructable.

We got one of those. The shallow design means that it makes toast better than a regular toaster-oven. It works excellent for baking pizza. Unfortunately, you can't bake a loaf of bread so it was replaced with a bigger Ninja Air Fryer. It
works just fine for baking bread. It also has a dehydrator function. I'm using it
    to make dried scallops.

Do they need to be re-hydrated or cooked at all to eat,
or are they like 'jerky'? I expect they already have
enough salt and natural sugars (glycine) that no

Depends on how they're used. You do need to break them up. If you're using it in
soups, you can just add that to the broth. Well, that's what I'd do anyway.

Free shipping. Our oven's broiler quit working. This looks
like it would work well as a small salamander.

Price is right, but Ninja's is much better:

We got one of those. The shallow design means that it makes toast
    better than a regular toaster-oven.

    +1

    It works excellent for baking
pizza. Unfortunately, you can't bake a loaf of bread so it was
replaced with a bigger Ninja Air Fryer. It works just fine for
baking bread. It also has a dehydrator function. I'm using it to
    make dried scallops.

    Ha!

    You loafer.

My daughter makes the bread. She makes a lot of bread. Here's some
dried scallops. They are funny little things.

This is very similar to the one we gave our son. We'll mostly just use
it as a salamander, and it was less than half the price of the Ninja. I don't need an air fry function.

The advantage of the air fryer is that the fan in the unit allows it to act like
a full size oven i.e., you can bake breads and cookies/pastries as well as pizzas
and broil fish etc. My daughter has a couple of loaves in the air fryer at the moment. She makes a lot of bread.
