Hit Prime Video TV Show Renewed for Season 3
    --------------------------------------------
One of Prime Video's hit crime thrillers is back for a third season,
with the streamer bringing it back for fans to check out again.

What Prime Video series is returning for Season 3?
Cross, the hit thriller series starring Aldis Hodge as detective
Alex Cross, is back for a third season. The third season will
"continue to expand the high-stakes world of the iconic character,
building on the show's gripping storytelling and powerful
performances," according to Prime Video in its announcement.

The thriller series has been a big success for Prime. The first
season of the show drew 40 million viewers globally in its first
20 days on Prime Video, and ranked as the third most-watched premier
on the service in 2025, reaching #1 on Prime Video in more than 100
countries. Its Season 2 premiere also was a hit, ranking in the top
10 of all original series during the week of its premiere.

Cross follows "a brilliant homicide detective and forensic
psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the minds of murderers
in order to identify and catch them. In Season Two, Cross is in
pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt
billionaire magnates," reads the official synopsis for the upcoming
    second season of the series.

Cross comes from executive producer, showrunner, and writer Ben
Watkins, and is based on the characters from James Patterson's
best-selling Alex Cross book series. Cross Season 2 will debut on
Prime Video on February 11, 2026, with the first three episodes. New
episodes will then release weekly leading up to the season finale on
    March 18, 2026.

Alongside Hodge, Cross also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings,
Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, and more. Season 2 of the show will also
introduce new stars, including Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason and Wes
Chatham. Hodge also executive produces the show, alongside Sam Ernst,
Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett,
James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa.
