    When a judge is basically yelling at you and telling you you're North Korea, you might take it as a clue that you've gone to far with your property seizures.

    What was the forfeiture suit based on? A specific criminal offence or
    something more general?

    The prosecutors "just knew" the cash was guilty despite having passed
    federal audits. What does having evidence have to do with civil asset forfeiture?
