One of CBS's popular TV shows has finally received a two-season
renewal, ahead of the final episode premiere of the series' sixth
season. CBS's long-running daytime talk show, The Drew Barrymore
Show, will officially be coming back for its seventh and eighth
seasons.

"The show is a destination for entertainment, information, and
important conversations. Composed of exclusive celebrity
interviews, unique lifestyle segments, social media influencers,
and feel-good news stories, it is the show's mission to touch all
aspects of life through Drew's unique, optimistic lens," reads
the logline.

What did Drew Barrymore say about the CBS renewal?
The Drew Barrymore Show is executive-produced by Barrymore and
Jason Kurtz. It is a production by CBS Media Ventures. Since its
debut in 2020, the talk show has continued to expand its reach.
According to Deadline, the latest installment is currently the
show's most-watched season with 1.6 million daily viewers per
Nielsen L+7 Big Data + Panel. Last year, Barrymore won a Daytime
Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host.
