  • The Price Of Mince

    Heard on the TV news earlier that the price of mince is $24/kg.

    I checked the pack in my freezer that I bought back on Saturday, and
    that was marked at $22/kg.

    I expect that the discrepancy is because most NZers are buying
    essentially all their groceries at the supermarket.

    Don?t do that. Things not to get from the supermarket:
    * fruit & veges
    * milk
    * meat

    Instead, try your local fruit & vege shop, and butcher shop. You?ll
    find they offer better variety and prices than a supermarket.

    There is a war on. Without cheap oil prices rise, as does inflation. (Now at 3.7%.)
