Under Hipkins, Labour are emerging from the legacy of the
    Ardern-Robertson years:

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/politics/360903716/labour-pledges-low-interest-loans-local-gps

Regardless of whether this will actually work or make any significant difference to healthcare provision, Labour are clearly thinking
'outside the box'. This will appeal to many, including those
traditional Labour voters turned off by the legacy of Ardern's
leadership. Labour are going after the same economic growth strategy
    to get us moving forward.

So, Mr Luxon, be bold. Don't wait for your underlings to rescue your
faltering party support. Show that you have your own ideas that will
appeal to voters beyond disparaging Labour and their potential
    Government partners.

That or quit now for someone who has leadership aspirations and more
    courage than you do.

We are beginning to see some green shoots in Labour. The
Ardern/Robertson leadership would never have considered the initiative
to incentivise GPs to invest in a new or existing cooperatively-owned practices. The policy has merit, but more importantly the thinking
behind it indicates new thinking typically not found in left-wing
    political parties.

That well maybe the case, however we need to work with what we have. How
about some critical thinking on the plan.

Labour along with the Greens and TMP are not left wing (at this time). They have shifted into the authorian sector. Hitler was socialist before going
    Nazi.

At the end of the day it matters not the label but rather their actions.

Maybe, maybe not, but the point is we need to ensure the best (or least worst) of a bad bunch are in power.

The "plan" is the just usual electionering 'lolly scramble' promise to
gain votes, that probably won't happen or be altered after being
elected, and if it does happen will spend piles of tax-payer money only
to be reversed by the next bunch of morons to get voted in anyway.

OK - so I will change my last sentence: "The policy has merit, but
more importantly the thinking behind it indicates new ideology
typically not found in Labour/Green party".
