• Keeping the time set correctly

From joel@3:633/10 to All on Thursday, June 04, 2026 18:10:02
Outside of going into settings, turning off Automatic Date & Time and then turning it back on after each login, how would you set the time automatically?
The steps to reproduce are to hibernate, cut the power to the PC and later supply power and boot.

Do you have tzdata and systemd-timesyncd installed ?

systemd-timesyncd is one of the possible ways to keep your clock in
sync. Others include ntpsec, chrony, and openntpd.

Most people, if they're connected to the Internet, should have one of
those packages installed and configured to keep their clock in sync.
They all use the NTP protocol, and there are worldwide NTP servers
    set up just for this.

systemd-timesyncd is a recommended package with systemd, and thus is part
    of a default install
