  • Kernel hardware and stereo audio issue on ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16

    I hope you are doing well.
    I am writing to report hardware compatibility issues while running Debian
    on my laptop.
    Laptop model: ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 (GU603VV)
    I am encountering the following problems:
    ? Audio output works only in mono instead of stereo.
    ? Some hardware components are not correctly detected or configured by the kernel, resulting in limited functionality.
    The issues seem to be related to kernel support or driver compatibility for this hardware model.
    I would appreciate any guidance or instructions to help diagnose or resolve these problems. I can provide logs or additional system information if
    needed.

    Can you describe what this is connected to, and how?

    In my experience, the easiest way to get this problem is to have
    a partially inserted 3.5mm plug.
