    hello -

i have a new Asus ExpertBook BM 1503 CDA and cannot get the internal microphone to work.

    alsamixer shows Capture in red.
the pa volume control only shows "Monitor of Family 17h/19h..." instead
of "Family 17h/19h ..." as it was on the former computer.
and no input (output is working correctly for both, speakers and headphones)

i searched about solutions but could not find one, so i am asking here.
i put some details about system and card below.

    thanks for any help -
    joachim
