  • bullseye to bookworm broke X

    i did a full upgrade from bullseye to bookworm with no errors
    any suggestions

    Use nouveau instead of nvidia drivers.
    Also, be sure you have the necessary non-free repo's enabled in
    sources.list. In fact, you might want to provide it here for others
    to inspect. Copy/paste the result of ` grep -v '^#' /etc/apt/sources.list

    i removed all x related packages and reinstalled them
    it works now

    i removed all x related packages and reinstalled them
    it works now
    don't know why but it does

    If the issue comes back, please contact this list and provide details, including sources.list - in case there is a bug that needs to be fixed.
