I'm using Mate as my desktop manager.

Every single time I resume from suspend, the volume buttons do not
change the sound volume, however Mate still shows the icons on the
desktop (the ones that look like a loudspeaker).

So, it seems Mate thinks the buttons are working but something somewhere thinks they are not.

Restarting wireplumber pipewire pipewire-pulse doesn't work either.

The only thing that works is to shut and restart lighdm.

Dmesg after resume is appended after signature.

Any help will be appreciated.
