  • package manager problem

    Sometimes running 'apt update' fixes these sorts of problems. Apt update resync's you local copy of the package lists with the actual list on the repo servers. It is also possible that the servers are not fully synced or updates are currently in progress -- waiting a shourt while and then running apt update and then apt install.

    It looks like you are trying to install version 25.3.3-1~mx25ahs of mesa-libgallium. I don't know what that is opr where it comes from; it
    isn't provided by any official Debian repository, so you must be getting
    it from some other configured repository.

    Showing output of:

    $ apt policy mesa-libgallium

    may provide some hints as to what you have configured.

    For example, the version in trixie is 25.0.7-2. In trixie-backports it's 25.2.6-1~bpo13+1. In forky and sid it's 25.3.3-1. The fact that you have
    other packages that depend upon version 25.0.7-2 suggests that the rest
    of your system is Debian 13 (trixie).

    In general giving more information like what release of Debian you're
    running and what third-party package repositories you might be using
    will help people to help you, and remove some of the guesswork.

    I did a web search for "25.3.3-1~mx25ahs" and found some references to
    MXLinux so maybe you are not running Debian at all, or have somehow
    installed deb packages that aren't made for Debian.

    and I are just an average linux users enjoying the fruits of your work.˙
    I sorted out the problem in my mxlinux 25.˙ Here was the fix and it
    worked,,,, on their page of all things :)
