I can reduce this bug down to:
re.search(r'==', '== ?')
That seems like a bug in the re module... But I don't see any relevant
changes between 3.13.6 (when you had a successful build) and 3.13.7. It
was a very minor point release of Python. So, this needs m68k porter
help. It's something deeper.
BTW, Luca, if you used && instead of ; in your debian/rules there, this
error would show up in the right place.
