• hpt question re: netmail

From Mike Powell@1:2320/107 to ALL on Friday, March 13, 2026 11:03:21
If I am in multiple zones, and am using JAM message bases, will I be able
to use one netmail area in hpt (provided that my BBS software allows it),
or would I need to set up a separate netmail area for each network?

The docs make me think I can use one single area (which I would prefer) but I am confused (by some BBS sofware that uses multiple areas) and want to be sure that is not a limitation of JAM that would cause me to need to set up
    multiple netmail areas with hpt.

    Thanks!

HPT and JAM can handle multiple AKA's and zones in one common msg area just fine. But can your BBS software do that?

Yes, so long as there are no restrictions from hpt and JAM. Thanks for verifying what I thought I was reading in the docs. ;)
