Might have to wait till after the show to sort, as no doubt Andrew will be headed to London I suspect by now.

I have just ordered it myself, so will see what arrives.

I can now confirm my download was also 5.57, sounds like Andrew uploaded
the wrong update to !Store in his rush before the show :-(

I have sent him an email.

Yes, I paid at the show. I've visited !Store and can't see version 6.

I'm confused. Not an unusual state. :-)

A couple of years ago I seem to recall an effort being made to tie up
the version numbers for NetFetch and Hermes. So, I read that there
was an upgrade to V6 NetFetch and made an assumption especially as
the blurb talked about latest server requirements. I have never
actually used NetFetch as such, I just use Hermes.

So I splashed out ?20 for an upgrade and yes I downloaded the "b"
version but my best endeavours cannot see any differences in Hermes.

Have I missed something other than never "assume" ?

    Cheers,

    Bob.

There is work ongoing I understand on Hermes per Andrew, but the main
changes were this time in the Front End "NetFetch", to bring it up to the
new requirements for setting up accounts and improved configuration of
usenet, etc. plus the latest AcornSSL module which now support TLS 1.3

Andrew did preview the changes at the October WROCC pre-show meeting.
