    And, as said, the Fedora bug groups say the same

    I installed it and it loaded
    the repositories and displayed the available software with no problems. I seldom use it but I see no advantage over Discover which is installed in
    the KDE version.

    Dunno WHY it worked for you ... but it's NOT for a
    lot of other people.

    Note I do NOT use KDE. MAYbe that's a factor - but
    not nearly a big enough one to make me install KDE.

    I started with a fresh install of 41 and now am at 43, upgrading at each release. At least in that timeframe dnfdragora wasn't included.

    Dnfdragora is in the most recent distro. It CAN be very
    useful according to past experience. It WORKED on the
    initial Live version I used to install ... but after
    doing updates it STOPPED working.

    With luck this will be fixed pretty quick.

    What did you use? Xfce? It works in KDE but Discover is the KDE GUI
    software manager.

    Yep, XFCE is the max I'm gonna install anywhere,
    on any distro. Strongly pref LXDE.

    Just HATE the 'fatter' ones.

    In any case, this prob DOES apply to at
    least XFCE-based. Not sure about others
    yet but someone WAS complaining about MATE
    as well in the bug reports.

    AM running my damned ffmpeg app now on F43.
    We'll SEE. 8 hours so far and still going.

    Oh, and had to kinda nuke "SE Linux" ...
    could not even make a systemd service
    without it freaking. Maybe OK for a
    departmental server, but for less, NO !

    I can understand, but .....

    Note the current ver of my ffmpeg thing
    is 'blocking' ... ffmpeg is told to run
    for x-minutes and then end. The pgm does
    not loop - but ENDS. Systemd then starts
    it again in a couple of seconds. Maybe not
    ideal, but I've had SUCH bad luck with
    other schemes.

    DID get my NAS drives to work. Great !
    Now I can save my vids there.

    Tomorrow, WILL try to install VBox and
    create a Trixie VM. Still like Deb much
    more than the RPM universe - finer,
    easier, saner, control.

    sort/grep/less are often your best friends here in this situation.

    They sort-of help ... but a well-made package GUI
    is a LOT more useful.

    Anyway, this is a multiply-reported bug so I think
    it will be fixed pretty quick.

    I don't think 'yumex' will install anymore - and it
    is no longer included in the main repo.
