No independent benchmarks as yet for these <https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/china-advances-toward-tech-independence-with-new-homegrown-6nm-gaming-and-ai-gpus-lisuan-7g106-runs-chinese-aaa-titles-at-4k-over-70-fps-and-matches-rtx-4060-in-synthetic-benchmarks>.

One thing I find promising is they support OpenCL, which is an open
standard for GPU compute. I.e. it’s not something Nvidia has been good
    with.

OpenCL should have been adopted by everybody and NVIDIA should have been
left to suck eggs. But the whole industry lost the plot when OpenGL was ditched. I hear that Vulcan has certain advantages over OpenGL but I’m not super up on 3D and haven’t been since the PHIGS and IrisGL days lol.

Unfortunately, being the dominant GPU maker, they were in a position
to call the shots. They saw no profit in supporting an open standard
that put competitors on a level playing field, so they didn’t.

But the whole industry lost the plot when OpenGL was ditched.

This had nothing to do with Vulkan. OpenCL is much older than that.
