Wife filled up her Golf this morning, 95 cost $1.949 which is about a
10cpl rise in less than a week, at the same Apco servo petrolspy is
showing diesel at $1.989 but the Coles Express/Shell is $2.517 which
crazy, those servos are only a few hundred meters apart.

were charging 4 bucks a litre for petrol.

anyone bothers to use it.

I buy my fuel from the Foodtown servo in Main street, who remains consistently cheapest. When I filled up the F100 on Wednesday petrol was $2.05 for 91. Around the corner at the Apco it was almost $2.50 and
people were queuing up.

LOL˙ Theres an APCO in bairnsdale, and people were queued up out onto
the highway. I drove past and went into the BP 200m up the road, and
filled up the ranga at 3 cpl more than apco, and didnt have to wait
for a pump. Some people have anal ingrained. :-)>

One servo near me was at $2.88.9 around 7.00am this morn, but now at
$2.79.9 (diesel). $220 to fill a tank. Lucky the ranga is relatively economical.. still, $170 to do a round trip to the block isnt great.
Wonder how high it'll go. At least Morrison cut the tax temporarily
during covid. Airbus Albo is rubbing his hands with glee. Cunt.>

the "foodworks" Caltex is $226.9, a couple of the other local servos are more expensive and another in the middle.
The funny thing is the E85 for the race car (we are going to Winton tomorrow) is the same price as its been for a couple of years and is now
one of the cheapest fuels at $2.199.
I was talking to a truckie this morning and I said that the price of
diesel must be killing him, he said no because the customer pays a fuel
levy which goes up or down according to how much he pays.

Yeah, I was in town in the Effie this morning and I topped up while I
was there. The Apco was $2.19 while the Foodtown was $2.26 as you say. I
was talking to the guy who runs the Foodtown servo as he likes a natter,
and he said lucky I filled up today as he's been advised that it's going
up tomorrow. I asked him if he knew how much, and he said $2.60 for unleaded, and close to 3 bucks for diesel.
