Interesting that I'm not even slightly interested in any of the vehicles
on the best seller list, we were thinking about updating the Golf but
have now decided to keep it a lot longer mostly because we can't think
of a replacement that fits our needs/wants, it will need tyres and
brakes in the next 6mths but that's still cheaper than replacing it.

Depends what you're after I suppose. At the moment there's some pretty decent Chinese wagons on the market that are excellent value.
