I was expecting trouble (hence the speed), but this shows how good a
    decent headlight/lightbar helps...

Fucking roos arent the sharpest knives in the drawer. But I also had a
speed chicken/emu run across the road in front of me...

They're cunts of things. Bad enough dodging the stupid bastards on the
road, but I have them going through the yard eating the veggies.

    Nasty.

You have to learn to share Darren. Nah, that's probably not in your nature.

Nothing astonishes Noddy so much as common sense and plain dealing.

Roos are a PITA but don't see any emu around here.
We frequently drive between Gisborne and Bacchus Marsh, I avoid driving
in the dark but that's not always possible and we see our share of roos
on or near the road so we mostly drive between 60-70kph but even then it
    can get interesting.
Last Wednesday I picked up my son and his partner from the airport at
11pm, dropped them off at Gisborne then drove to the Marsh, the roos
weren't the scariest, a massive wombat on the edge of the road gave me a
scare especially since the car I was driving had previously been written
    off after hitting a wombat:-)
