I entered my reply to you but could not Save it, if this is a Dupe please forgive.
Usually I hold this phone in the Horizntal position to read text.
In the horizontal position the first line has all of the Heads and Bodies plus 2 pairs of feet.
Next line has 14pairs of feet and Text up to the word the.
Third line has the word Apocalypse.

While holding the phone Vertically I see 4 lines.
    The Heads plus 7 Bodies
Rest of the Bodies and all but two pairs of Feet
Two pairs of Feet and Text ending at the word the.
    Only the word Apocalypse.

My Charge for this Service is the same as My I.Q. Score which is ZERO .

You wouldn't happen to know the character x line dimensions? Also what are you using to read posts on the phone? Sounds like you lack a proper fidonet application for MSGing.

I log on this Capitol City Online BBS by http using Firefox on a android phone.

Held vertically I can see 58 lines of text that is max 52 characters long.
Held horizontally I see 14 lines , 81 characters long

    The Screen is 5 3/4" by 2 5/8" .

When logged in and reading posts the window is 3 3/8" wide. The rest of the screen is blank (just like Ed's Head (C) TM).

    Hej Ed!

I log on this Capitol City Online BBS by http using Firefox on a
    android phone.

I've logged into BBBS systems that might be comparable. However I used a text browser, usually lynx, on a PC to read/write.

Held horizontally I see 14 lines , 81 characters long

That should work, except your browser might be using up precious characters by adding spaces to the start of lines (margins).

The rest of the screen is blank (just like Ed's Head (C) TM).

On top or inside your head?

I will have to do a looksee if there is a Text browser app offered for this android phone.

I miss using my desktop system program MultiMail DOS to Read and Write posts for the BBS.

After starting the cellphone service account i thought to search for a Bluetooth device for adding it to my wired router output cat-5 jack.
Once, I saw a device that had that feature but failed to bookmark that page.

I WOULD rather use MultiMail DOS on my desktop than pecking on the screen.
I just can't find that webpage when I search the browsers History.

As I have said many, many times: "Here on Earth Computers Alway win because THEY HAVE INSIDE INFORMATION".

    Hey Ed!

    for this android phone.

Lynx would be the ideal, especially with the gopher protocol which is still being supported with the most recent version. As for the lack of javascript, who cares?

I WOULD rather use MultiMail DOS on my desktop than pecking on the
    screen.

I think it might be abandonware. However with a proper editor a MultiMail for Android would probably be the best idea. In the distant past I had MultiMail for linux working on a regular pc. However it lacks utf-16 support so it never really took off, which is the reason I wrote bash scripts to take care of my MSGing needs. Near as I can tell, this particular bashing is the ultimate fidonet messaging ever.

    Hey Ed!

In the earlier post you spoke about lynx, I will check to see if
    its available.

For sure. I did look myself but lacking any so-called smart devices with Android there is no way I can say for sure it works ... if it even exists and is as capable as the linux version. If so then that is definetly something that can be made to work for both online and offfline fidonet MSGing just like mom used to do.

    Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP

gopher should be also doable and probably desirable. Offhand methinks that would be the way to go.

    I am a Hobbyist not a programmer.

Same here. However I have experience writing software in fortran and later c way back when ... and even got paid for it. :-)

    Keep up your good work

    That is the plan.
