It is compatible with XP and all later versions.
It is the best free software currently available for editing PDF files.
Their website specifies Windows version 7 at a minimum, except for their
"For Windows XP/Vista" version.

So, they are primarily an on-site service to provide their editors, much
like the web apps from Google and Microsoft. You have to download their editors to exercise them on local (offline) files.
They have forums (
https://community.onlyoffice.com/) where you could ask
other users of their software.
Their
https://www.onlyoffice.com/contacts page lists phone numbers in
several countries, and some e-mail addresses.
You can find online reviews, like at:

Typically the biggest sore point amongst all MS Office alternatives is
lack of or incompatible macro/scripting. They don't support VBA in MS
Office, but have their own scripting language. If you're in a corporate environment where macros are implement in their company docs, or you get
them from elsewhere with macros, like for validating data you enter into
input fields, those docs won't work in the MS Office alternatives.
Rarely do I run across docs with macros, but it has happened, like for
tax forms, medical forms, etc.
Also, just because an alternative claims to be MS Office compatible does
not mandate that everything in MS Office can be found in the
alternative. For example, I used LibreOffice's Calc, I could not define
a table with a drag handle that let me resize (add rows) to the table
which would get reflected in an associated chart or graph. The
workaround was to copy the last row, and insert it just above the last
row, and then edit the last row. However, sometimes even that would not reflect a change in the data range defined in the chart or graph, so I
had to edit the data range in the chart or graph to reflect an increase
in row count in the spreadsheet. Some functions in LibreOffice are
equivalents to those in MS Office, but not always easy to find. Layouts
differ between MS Office, the alternatives, and even between the
alternatives.
