    Clicksend.com is crap.

I've supposedly "unsubscribed" from them 3 times and they're still
    writing me.

I'd have to go to their webpage to be reminded how they got my email
address. I know I gave it to them, but it was reluctantly. And this is
    how they treat me.

Things like that is why I create new email accounts for everything that
could possibly send me spam. Get spam = delete email acct.
Most of my accts forward to just a couple of main accts. That way I
don't have to monitor them all.

Yeah, I should do that. I've thought about it but in advacnce, it
always seems like too much trouble. In retrospect, it sure would have
    been worth it this time.

I may or may not use an Unsubscribe button, but certainly never more
than once. After that, I create a rule that immediately deletes email
    from that organization. Job done.

Don't moan when a company starts sending you spam. Instead, be grateful
that they are identified by a fixed email, not a faked one. Then, just
create an automatic filter in your mail client that sends those emails automatically to the spam folder or the trash folder, and problem solved
(do not delete immediately, in case of errors).

Creating disposable accounts is good, but is work.

Once I responded to something on a food box, that wanted me to send them a number on the box, and they would contribute to a charity. They offered a "reward" of a song to download. Rather than providing a download link on
the site, that wanted my email address.

That sounded suspicious, so I didn't send the real address but a
disposable one at https://yopmail.com/ . I was right, there was really a
    lot of spam sent there.

I have heard several times, that you shouldn't click an unsubscribe link
for a spammer. They actually use it to confirm a valid address, and so
    send more junk.

There are two kinds of spammers: those from a reputable company that
sends a lot of email, using their true email, and others that aren't
legit and use faked email names.

The later are a pest, and you should never respond to them or click
anything. Not even download online content from that email.

The legit ones, with various degrees of legitimacy, you can at least
easily filter them out. Some will actually unsubscribe you following
their instructions, but I never try.

My situation is different. Spammers have blacklisted me, so they have

You must be a terrible person if even the spammers won't write you.

stopped sending me anything. When I asked them why, they said that I am

    Aha, I was right.

Today someone called meand wanted to know if I'd gotten my new Medicare

the same question least 9 times, and I kept giving her similar answers.
She never got past that question. But she did close with Have a nice
