Is it just me .... or do they use a very light font on the page??

    Very, Very light!!

    It's just you.

It looks fine on Chrome (of course).
On your inferior browser, the picture is designed to be inferior.

That's the web for you, the devs are so so clever.

Since MSEdge is Chromium, try it in MSEdge.
That should darken-up the text a tiny bit.

The more you pay for a phone.com plan, the darker the font gets :-)

Since I have a conventional answering machine connected to my VOIP,
    I don't need a fancy plan.

My VOIP, came with two tomato tins and a ball of cotton string.
That's how basic my plan is.

    Very, Very light!!

I don't allow sites to use their own fonts.
If I let that site use it's own fonts then it is barely readable.
    Script kiddies...

It looks fine on Firefox, but I don't know if I prevent sites from using
their own fonts, or if I don't!!
