I've installed side by side win10/win11 on the same pc.
On the same hardware the wifi connection it's ok on windows 10
but it's VERY POOR on windows 11

Speed link win 10 780/780 (Mbps) ok
Speed link win 11 144/144 (Mbps) oh NO NOOO !

Hardware is : TP-Link Archer T3U Plus https://www.amazon.it/TP-Link-Archer-T3U-Plus-Adattatore/dp/B0859M539M?th=1

I've uninstalled/reinstalldd/checked for drivers in the net to no avail.

Any hint will be *very* appeciated !!!!

There aren't really a lot of useful adjustments. Most of it is taken
out of your hands. However, the router end has some control over
how the adapters will behave. By setting the router for 5GHz (or using

have a channel setting such as ch36 or ch40, and a bandwidth, like 20/40
or 40/80. The way the spectrum is being used near you, might interact
with your setting.

Mostly these are useless, except to jam them into the "least responsive"

Related Settings:

AdaptivityPara: Sets the overall adaptivity policy (e.g., 0 for neutral, 7 or F5 for aggressive adjustments).

HLDiffForAdaptivity: Controls the threshold for switching to lower-performance modes

When enabled this feature will try to change the channel frequency if it detects noise

Changing the WiFi channel is done by the WiFi router. So the WiFi adapter can only ask the
WiFi router to change the channel frequency. If WiFi Router supports such a feature then
it may change the channel.

The TPLink driver, is just an instance of the Realtek driver.

RealTek may make finding the latest driver more difficult,
and in any case, the "NDIS standard" for a given Windows OS
can change, removing useful settings from Device Manager for
making adjustments.

The short answer.
Win 10 is using 5GHz WiFi whereas Win 11 is using the 2.4GHz band which
cannot achieve the speed you require.
In Win 11 look at the TP-Link adapter properties in Device Manager and
set the option to use only the 5GHz band.

You probably meant - setting Win11 to use the 5 GHz instead of 2.4 GHz spectrum solved the problem.

i.e. per your earlier spec posting, both were already using the
802.11ac protocol while only Win10 was using the 5 Ghz spectrum.
