My new AMD Ryzen 9 9950X GigaByte Aorux X870E Xtreme AI Top system-/logic- board UNIX/GNU/Linux workstation has (according to Slackware GNU/Linux
lspci) StarTech 'PCI bridge: PLX Technology, Inc. PEX 8114 PCI Express-to- PCI/PCI-X Bridge (rev bc)' with a Creative Labs SoundBlaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum with front panel which isn't detected (front panel controls are essential 100% the reason I'm using it, and don't need that for great
quality when already have that built-in for when necessary, so no
suggestions of alternatives, please). Are there even Linux kernel drivers for this bridge, and might the cable matter? That extends to a side slot (perpendicular to main slots) on SilverStone SETA D1 EATX case. I would
use white Corsair Carbide 500R but don't want to cut holes for SATA.
