• 'Music' outside Birmingham New Street

From Scott@3:633/10 to All on Monday, September 14, 2026 16:56:38
I visited Birmingham last week. Near one of the entrances to New
Street station (Stephenson Place) some truly awful music was playing
on the PA system. Is this representative of musical tastes in the West Midlands, or perhaps an attempt at dispersal?

It's most likely an attempt at dispersal.

I prefer John Cage's 4'33" on continuous loop at stations.
