  • CBTC Signs

    I've seen many signal signs on lines that are use CBTC, but I cannot
    read them.

    Can anybody recommend a website that explains what they mean?

    However, CBTC is a replacement for signals and signs, so I'm not sure
    what else you're seeing. Possibly a backup system for when CBTC is not
    in use?

    That's not what I am after. I am referring specifically to the signal
    signs that one sees on LU lines with CBTC, be that Northern, Jubilee, or
    the sub-surfaces.

    On YouTube there are several tube-driver training films that show
    driving over variants of standard routes. Many of these specifically
    refer to signs to be used during "degraded operations" ... presumbly

    Thanks, but no.

    I am after information on what the signal signs on lines that employ
    CBTC mean. This includes the Northern, Jubilee and the sub-surfaces.

    For example, I know that a white letter 'H' on a red background with a
    black perimeter is called a Halt board. But I would like to know what
    other such signs mean.

    I also saw a sign with white letters on a blue background with the words
    "FCDO reset."

    This is what I am seeking.
