• First train at Cambridge South

From Roland Perry@3:633/10 to All on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 08:57:35
Looks like the first few trains on Sunday 28th are PASS, with the first southbound one 06:35 to Kings Cross. Arr Royston 06:47, to connect with
07:31 first northbound service arr CMS 07:44.

Or for the more adventurous turn back at Hitchin (07:05-07:10)

The main problem is: how to get to Cambridge South at six thirty on a
Sunday morning. No car park! Maybe use the Addenbrookes one. Oh the
    irony.

Sadly, there's no buses at that time on a Sunday (and the station
    doesn't have a bus stop!!!)

I don't have a serviceable pushbike (am considering getting an electric
bike, might as well be an illegal one as that's what most people have
around here, but not in time for that day's events) and it's a 2hr walk
(each way) according to Google Maps.

Park somewhere in Trumpington and walk? It's about 15 minutes along the busway. I think the P&R opens at 7am, but there is free street parking
    here:
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/yVMHw5ZHh72j4v969

and it's about 10-15 mins via a straight line footpath to Cambridge
    South.
