I like the way they have included the short section of track at Invergarry.

There's the short loop of rail at now defunct Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power
station. (between Derby and Loughborough). I wonder whether it will
be used when parts of the power station are dismantled.

As an aside there's going to be fun and games if the cooling towers,
which are quite close to the tracks, are blown up, and I'm sure air
traffic control won't be too happy either.

Why ever wait to finish a job before starting the next?

If you hear anything, will you let us all know as I would like to
visit. In England, generally, do they try to keep the blowdown date
    secret?

You will have to be patient. The cooling tower demolition isn?t planned
until around 2029/2030. The planning already involves the airport. It?s not unknown for the airport to shutdown for a couple of days for things like
runway heavy maintenance, so I imagine that the demolition will fit in with something like that.

I like that https://trainmap.co.uk/ and https://www.openrailwaymap.org/ have the tracks at the Old North Road railway station, which had been lifted, but restored (between 2008 and 2012) by the owner:

    https://earth.google.com/web/@52.1741578,-0.075799,-7761.7901299a,8150.6724167d,35y

It is tempting to add the missing spur to OpenStreetMap.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04qmyrx

And perhaps the 3ft tracks at the Southwold Railway Steamworks?

    Cheers.
