There was a time when I used CDs and DVDs for storing music, and storing software such as Linux installs.
I don't think I have burned one for ages.
Most modern devices, especially laptops, don't even have a DVD drive.
I have loads in the cupboard.
Does anyone still use them?
I have a CD drive in both of my (10+ years old) vehicles but haven't used them to play music for a long time.
