It may be transient, but we really can't generalise.

It's been going on for
years already, doctors prescribing end dose of painkillers to
speed up the end, but that does expose doctors to a potential
murder charge, depending on the circumstances.
There obviously needs to be safeguards, but that can only be
framed through the law. Here in the UK, the assisted dying bill
has been frustrated on several occasions. Organised religion,
and those who think they have the right to dictate to others,
on such personal matters.
In the absence of coercion etc, the primacy of the individual

moral standard of expectations, compared to Hamas, who seem
to get a free ride, as the *victims*.

Iran is a very interesting place. The Iranians are very well
educated, friendly and have a great pride in their culture. There is
a great appreciation of all the arts (in all age groups). Vandalism
and anti social behaviour seems to be non-existent (you could eat of
the sidewalk). If you're a Christian you are still welcome in any
mosque (but be prepared to explain the holy trinity as best as you
can). There is zero tolerance of some things which it seems
American's cannot live without (producing hard core pornography
carries the death penalty). In peoples homes it seems to be the women
who wear the trousers (the men do as they're told) - I didn't expect

Nobody likes Hamas, but they are brutal minority in the countries˙ which find themselves stuck with them. Iran does seem to find them useful,

Hamas are definitely murderous, but they aren't primitive savages. The savagery is extensively rationalised, like the Israeli antics.
A little rational disengagement on both sides could save a lot of lives,

their long term plane to erase the state of Israel. It may be

be forced to negotiate.
Still, what do I know ?. Easy for me, in the safety of the
UK, but it's a very difficult problem to solve, with no

They are on-air and were broadcasting as usual on 7220 Kc/s at 23:00 BST
last night. The signal was strong at the start of the transmission but
soon experienced some deep fades. i don't know why you can't hear the >signal, as the Netherlands is within the target area.
P.S. currently rebuilding a K.W. Viceroy transmitter (120W SSB); hoping
to put it on the air in a month or two as part of a vintage radio
station at Chippenham, and District Amateur Radio Club's 60th
anniversary.

general stuff that could be heard anywhere. The really interesting

(I still miss the Sunday morning Radio Netherlands programme, it was one

those nuclear physicists.
I am a professional non-inept nuclear space physicist who is so
unfortunate that many coworkers - and others who author IEEE
publications - are overwhelmingly dangerously inept. (We do not work
on nuclear bombs. We do not work on nuclear electricity. We do not
work on nuclear rockets.) Other space professionals who enjoy
