    Kyle MacLachlan possesses that noble, aristocratic air which the new actor, decent as he is, simply lacks.

    Secondly, and far more importantly, there?s none of that ghastly vulgar feminism in the old Dune. I mean do you realise some brown wan actually slapped Paul Atreides? And she?s meant to be an atheist within her own community totally disrespecting male, and saviour figure.

    How perfectly absurd.


    Other castings are okayish? Great Walken, the gay guy from James bond, hot Rebecca Ferguson, the Swedish guy from Andor...good cast actually.
