  • US Open 2026: Blockx beats F. Cerundolo!

    Hello!

    I just watched Alexander Blockx vs Francisco
    Cerundolo. Perhaps not top-level tennis all the
    time but it was a close contest. Blockx advances
    to his first Grand Slam quarterfinal and it happens
    in New York in 2026! Congratulations!

    The commentator said Blockx is only 21 years old so
    this is big progress from a former junior #1. Maybe
    there is something comparable to Zverev in him: both
    are tall, both have big serve, both have great
    groundstrokes, both move exceptionally well for
    a big guy!

    I guess you are right, but at times Blockx's forehands
    looked a bit reckless, missing by a mile. But it was
    a good match!

    I sure hope Blockx will kick out Khachanov next as I hate
    all the fucking russians...Hahah!
