It turns out that Tommy Paul did not play a
particularly bad match, but Alcaraz was in a good
form. I had expected that Carlitos would struggle
more after being absent from something like four
months and having no match experience lately.
Carlitos is really talented, it was almost like
he had had no break at all. He continued where he
left in April, it was a pretty straightforward
straight sets win for Alcaraz.
Like I have said, I usually avoid making predictions
but I have to guess that Alcaraz will take the
whole tournament this year. Zverev certainly
cannot match the quality Alcaraz showed today
against Tommy Paul.
