    Last night Finnish time, when I saw it is Navone vs
    Djoker, I had a strange hunch that Djoker just might
    lose this time. Sure enough, when I woke up and
    checked out the result, Djoker was out! Maybe I
    should have placed a small bet yesterday...

    This is Djoker's first first round exit in a GS event
    since Aussie Open in 2006. So this was a rare event
    indeed!

    When I saw him lose in the first round of Cincy I assumed that this
    would be his last US Open.

    And then once I started watching last night's match (early third set), I
    knew he was going to lose. I was sad watching it, GOAT. Father time and
    all...

    He's got no chance at 3 of the slams now, and even Wimbledon he'll be 40
    next time he plays. Next USO will be 20 yrs since he made his 1st slam
    final. Might be good to announce his farewell tour next year?
