Hungary had vetoed thus far the proposed EU sanctions on Israeli illegal settlements in the West Bank. The settlers go unpunished for violence
and have removed tens of thousands of Palestinians from their homes in
the West Bank. That one country is allowed to grind these things to a
halt, is a defect in the EU mold that should be fixed. It also allows external enemies of EU leverage in EU decision making via the fifth
columns within. Now, that one of these columns is gone, the sanctions
are moving forward.
Good.
Trade restrictions on the settlements are also in the works, it seems. Excellent. Leave subsidising these guys to Tucker. Members of the
Israeli government (that egg on the crimes of the largely imported
settlers) are not to be sanctioned. Bad.
Well, two out of three is moving forward.
