One of these years, I have a big job to do. After The Bonobos broke up
(2009), I quit using my amplifiers. Now, I have several amplifiers that
need their filter caps replaced. Two Fender PA-135s and one PA-100
heads, a Music Man 210 Seventy-Five that was my main amp, and a little
10W thingie, plus the organ in the living room. I can't really sell any
of them until I fix them. Those PA heads are monsters. Back around 2005,
my bandmates were so sick of lugging those things that they bought a
900W solid state PA head. We ended up using that for monitors because
the Fenders put out so much more volume. The pair of 135s would easily
fill a venue the size of a high school gym. The PA-100 has plenty of
oomph to power two 4x12 guitar cabs, or better yet, be used as a bass amp.
