https://www.rac.ca/tca/Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) is now accepting app lications for the position of Editor of The Canadian Amateur (https://www. rac.ca/tca/) magazine as the current TCA Editor is retiring.

imes per year and is the membership journal of the Radio Amateurs of Canad
a (RAC). It is available in both print and digital versions (eTCA). Member
s of RAC, Canada?s sole national Amateur Radio organization, r
eceive TCA automatically.

Editing / Production ? The Canadian Amateur magazine

The Editor is responsible for managing, editing and designing the magazi
ne as follows:
* Plan editorial calendars in collaboration with contributors and RAC offi cials
* Perform substantive editing, copy editing and proofreading
* Write original content as required (e.g., profiles, awards features)
* Liaise with columnists, Section Managers and contributors through to p ublication
* Coordinate Section News content and approvals
* Work with advertisers on submissions and placement
* Liaise with printers and oversee production processes
* Design covers and all interior pages in full colour
* Prepare both print-ready and digital versions of each issue
* Publish the eTCA edition on the RAC website
