Some apologies to the former folks at EA may be in order here. I was
under the impression that they added the wretched voice sound effects,
because I had never actually played the mac original.
Well, a faithful port of the black and white Mac game has just been
released on Steam!

Watching the promo video, it has the speech samples too! I went and
checked a youtube video of the mac original and sure enough, they were
in there too.
The rest of the game is still terrible on Genesis, but at least the earplug-inducing sounds are authentic to the original!

NO-SPAM is obviously not my email domain. You might try the Roman
version of Hera if you really need to email me.

This is one of those games that was a darling on the old Macintosh computers, and EA thought it would make a great Sega Genesis game.ÿ Just
add color, awkward aiming, mushy controls, and there you have it.
No, wait, something was still missing.ÿ How about some incredibly
repetitive and annoying "voice" clips?ÿ Yes, that's right, you can hear enemies calling out "Nya-nya-nya-nya-nya" until your ears detach
themselves from your head and walk out on you.
EA's ports of PC games of the era were really hit or miss.ÿ Some of the stuff was pretty good, and then you get stuff like this, Sword of Sodan,
and Zany Golf.
