Insurance is insurance. Premiums depend in the potential costs and the
odds of making a claim. Insurers are in the business to make money so
they don't want to insure high risk clients. Private insurers can get
away with excluding pre existing conditions. Our health care system
covers everyone. No one gets excluded because they have a pre existing problem.

Can't say if that's true or not.
When my co-worker was dealing with them I suggested cranberry juice.
That was a no go for him because apparently his were acid based rather
than the usual alkaline. I had not realized that they came in different flavours.
I thank my lucky stars that I have never had an attack... that I know
of. There have been times when I have had minor issues that made me
wonder, but drinking cranberry juice for a couple days always seemed to
work for me.
My mother was interested in trying the cranberry juice treatment but
could not do the cranberry cocktail because she was diabetic and that
stuff is loaded with sugar to make it palatable. I got her some straight cranberry juice.ÿ As much as she liked cranberry sauce she could not
manage the unsweetened juice.
